She's jet lagged and tired, but Serena Williams still managed to defeat Chanelle Scheepers in straight sets--6:4, 6:0 to advance to the semifinals of the Bank of the West Classic.

Serena will take on #43 ranked Sorana Cirstea of Romania in Saturday's second semifinal match.  The match will air live on ESPN 2 at 10pm EST/ 7pm PST.  The first semifinal match will also air on ESPN 2 at 3pm EST/ 1pm PST.
